Unlike Prvious reviews My Stand is Very Sturdy, and Hold the Keyboard easily. (The Brand on the Stand Box says it was designe for Yamaha and other Portable Keyboards. [...] It really A GREAT Keyboard Both for the Beginner and the Advanced. There are 100 Songs in the Memory bank For playing and Learning. I particularly bought this for the "Lite up Keyboard Learning feature". It helps me alot with speed. The "Voices" [Or Instruments] (I believe about 367 are very realistic (Particularly the Grand Piano). Sound even Better if u Hook a Powered Speaker or Amp to it. It also Come with a Song Book of those same 100 learning Songs. One Amazing thing is that this Huge Keyboard can Also run on 6 'AA' (Penlight Batteries) Yes Thats right PENLIGHT (AA) .....NOT the Bigger Bulky C or D Size battery)... It was a fantastic deal as it came with both the AC adaptor and the stand. I have read a lot of reviews for this and almost all of them had a major complaint about the stand. Most said it was too flimsy or not safe at all. When I received mine I was curious about the stand and had already placed an order for a better model. Well to my surprise, the stand was very easy to assemble and it was so stable, height is adjustable also, so it can be used standing up or adjusted lower so you can sit at a comfortable position. I immediately cancelled my order for the other stand.I also purchased the Yamaha UX16 MIDI cable so I can connect this to my computer. When you register this on the Yamaha site; (Here: [...]) you will find a full array of extras such as books and lessons to take on-line.
